For instance, many school districts specify that a particular musical instrument must be able to fit on each student’s lap or under the bus seat. They don’t allow instruments to be placed in the aisle, behind the driver’s seat, or taking up any seat designated only for students. These instruments allowed to be taken inside the school bus may include guitars, violins, violas, alto and tenor saxes, trombones, woodwind instruments, trumpets, French horns, and snare drums. Larger, heavier, and bulkier instruments like larger drums, tubas, full-sized cellos, and baritone saxes are not usually allowed inside the bus, and these instruments (and the students carrying them) should be safely transported by other means.
School buses are not mere vehicles transporting students to and from school – they also provide hope for all students. These familiar yellow buses can help these talented students along their future careers – athletic, musical, or any other field they choose.
